Mother, daughter found dead in Chattogram

Police recovered the hanging bodies of a woman and her two-year-old daughter from Boalkhali upazila of Chattogram today.
The deceased were identified as Sharmin Akter, 27, wife of Md Selim and her daughter Taslima Akter.
Inspector of Boalkhali Police Station Helal Uddin Faroque said on information police rushed to the spot and recovered the bodies from their house. Local people found the bodies hanging from the ceiling of their house on Monday evening and informed police. The bodies were sent to Chattogram Medical College Hospital morgue for autopsy.
The reason behind the incident could not be known immediately. Police collected primary evidence after visiting the spot, the inspector said.
Selim went into hiding after the incident.
