Moderate tremor jolts Dhaka

A moderate earthquake shook different parts of the country, including Dhaka and Sylhet, on Friday afternoon.

The tremor, measuring 5.5 magnitude on the Richter Scale, was felt around 3:22pm, the Met Office said, adding that epicentre of the earthquake was in Arunachal Pradesh of India.

However, no damage or casualty was reported.
