The cold wave will sweep over the country during the first week of January

Drizzle to light rain is likely to occur at different places in the country from tomorrow followed by another round of cold wave, according to the Bangladesh Meteorological Department weather forecast.

"The cold wave will sweep over the country during the first week of January as a result of the week-long drizzle," said meteorologist Ruhul Kuddus.

Chances of precipitation will be higher at night and temperatures may fall to 13 degrees Celsius in the capital tomorrow, while occasional showers will take place throughout day and night on December 26 over the country.

Nighttime temperature may fall by a degree as a result.
