Taqsem A Khan (left ) and MD AKM Fazlullah have been reappointed as the managing directors in Dhaka and Chattogram Water Supply and Sewerage Authority (DWASA) respectively.

The managing directors of Dhaka Water Supply and Sewerage Authority (DWASA) and Chattogram WASA have been reappointed on their posts on Thursday.

Taqsem A Khan got reappointment as DWASA MD for the sixth consecutive term while Chattogram WASA MD AKM Fazlullah for the fourth consecutive term.

The Ministry of Local Government, Rural Development and Co-operatives issued separate notices in this regard. The both MDs got reappointment for the next three years.

For DWASA, the appointment would be effective from October 14, when Taqsem is scheduled to complete his current tenure on the post.

After his first appointment as the managing director of the DWASA in October 13, 2009, Taqsem has been in charge of the organisation for the last 11 years.

On the other hand, the reappointment of AKM Fazlullah would be effective on November 1.
