Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC) Mayor Sayeed Khokon has invited protesting rickshaw-pullers to join him for tea at his office to discuss their demands.

However, the mayor did not mention any time or date for the tea party.

Sayeed Khokon made the invitation while speaking at a workshop titled “Knowledge Exchange Workshop on International Experience with City Bus Reform” at hotel InterContinental in Dhaka on Tuesday.

The mayor invited them to discuss and find a resolution to the ongoing protest of rickshaw-pullers over banning rickshaws on routes from Kuril to Sayedabad, Science Laboratory to Shahbagh and from Gabtali to Azimpur from July 7.
