Man held in Khulna for defamatory Facebook posts about PM

A man was arrested on Monday from Khulna for posting slanderous remarks on Facebook about Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.

"On Monday, acting on a tip-off, police detained Samsher Ali, 51, from Khulna's station road area," Officer-in-Charge of Khulna police station Aslam Bahar Bulbul said.

 "After producing before the court, he was sent to the jail," the OC confirmed.

Earlier, a defamatory case was filed against him with Khulna police Station.
