Man dies from dengue at DMCH
He died two hours after being admitted to the hospital.
A man died from dengue infection at Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) on Wednesday afternoon.
The deceased was identified as Ariful Islam, 34, resident of capital’s Shyampur area.
Ariful was admitted to DMCH on Wednesday morning with dengue fever. He died two hours after being admitted to the hospital.
“Despite our best effort, his condition worsened and he died within few hours,” Nasir Uddin, Assistant Director (administration) of DMCH, told The Business Standard.
