A dengue patient on Tuesday died of dengue, while undergoing treatment at the Sher-e-Bangla Medical College Hospital in Barishal.

The deceased is Sayeed Baru (60) from Sadar upazila in Patuakhali. 

Quoting family members, our Barishal correspondent said Baru was admitted to the hospital in a critical condition on Monday. He breathed his last on Tuesday, raising the death toll from dengue at the hospital to 10. At present, 173 dengue patients are being treated in the hospital, while a total of 5, 556 patients left the hospital after treatment.
