Man detained with huge explosives from old Dhaka

Rab -2 officer Major Ruhul Amin said: “A team RAB members raided a warehouse in Chawkbazar area following a tip-off.”
Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) detained a man with a huge consignment of illegal explosives from the old town of the capital on Saturday (August 10).
The detainee, Sajib Hossain (27), brought explosives illegally from India.
RAB claimed Sajib is a wholesaler of explosives and has been doing this illegal business for the last five years.
Rab -2 officer Major Ruhul Amin said: “A team RAB members raided a warehouse in Chawkbazar area following a tip-off.”
Sajib, in primary interrogation, confessed his involvement in the illegal import.
A case has been filled with Chawkbazar police station in this connection.
