Khulna madrasa teacher held for abusing boy sexually

Police arrested a teacher of a madrasa on the charge of abusing a male student sexually at Khalishpur in the city early Saturday.

The arrestee is Al Amin, hailing from Kashiani upazila of Gopalganj and teacher of Newsprint Mills Madrasa.

Shah Alam, sub-inspector, Khalishpur Police Station, said police arrested Al Amin as victim’s mother Sheuly Begum filed a case with the police station on August 2.

The teacher used to call the boy at the boarding of Newsprint Mills Madrasa at night and abused him but the matter was noticed on July 31, said Sheuly Begum.
