President of Krishak Sramik Janata League (KSJL) Kader Siddiqui on Monday announced that he quit Dr Kamal Hossain-led Jatiya Oikyafront as the alliance has become a non-existent entity after the 11th parliamentary election.
“Jatiya Oikyafront has become a non-existent entity, there is no activity of the alliance. So, we have left the alliance,” said Kader at a press conference here.
Krishak Sramik Janata League will start a new journey to stand beside the people because Jatiya Oikyafront has failed to focus on any national problem, he added.
He said Kamal Hossain was the top leader of Jatiya Oikyafront but he was not able to give nomination for candidates for the 11 parliament election.
Even the nomination papers were distribution from the office of BNP, not from the Jatiya Oikyafront office, he said, adding that so it was clear that BNP led the Jatiya Oikyafront.
KSJL formally joined Jatiya Oikyafront on November 5, 2018.
