JSC, JDC exams begin on Nov 2

The results of JSC and JDC examinations will be published in Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) 4 scale in 2020.

The Junior School Certificate (JSC) and Junior Dakhil Certificate (JDC) examinations this year will begin across the country on November 2 (Saturday). 

More than 26 lakh examinees from 29,262 educational institutions are expected to sit for the examinations.

Question papers for all subjects except English at JSC and JDC level will be prepared in creative question pattern this year.

The results of JSC and JDC examinations will be published in Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) 4 scale in 2020.

The coaching centres countrywide have been directed to remain closed from October 25 to November 15 to hold the exams in a smooth manner.

The number of JSC examinees this year is 22,60,716 while 4,00,966 examinees will participate in the JDC examination.

Meanwhile, 454 students will sit for the JSC and JDC examinations at nine overseas centres in Jeddah, Riyadh, Medina, Tripoli, Doha, Saham in Oman, Bahrain, Abu Dhabi and Dubai.

Education Minister Dr Dipu Moni will visit the Jinjira PM Pilot High School in Keraniganj at 9am on Saturday.

Students must be present at the exam centres 30 minutes before the examinations start.

No electronic device is allowed inside the exam centres and additional members of law enforcing agencies will be deployed in and around the exam centres.

The examinations will end on November 13.
