Journalist found dead in Chattogram

Police have recovered body of a journalist hanged inside his office in Chattogram's Mirsarai upazila tonight.

The deceased- Sujan Chandra Mandal, son of veteran journalist Neerad Baran Mandal, was Mirsarai correspondent of Daily Ittefaq.

Confirming the matter, Mirsarai police station's Inspector Dinesh Dasgupta said, "Sujan's friends informed police after not seeing him all day. Later police at 10:30 pm broke into his office room and found his body hanging from the ceiling."

"Whether he committed suicide or was murdered could be said after investigation," he added.
