IOF donates freezer van to Quantum Foundation

The IGW (international gateway) Operators Forum (IOF) has donated a freezer van to the Quantum Foundation -- a voluntary organization -- to help to carry dead bodies during the prevailing Covid-19 pandemic.

Brigadier General Md Abdul Hannan (Retd), member of the executive committee, and Mushfique Manzoor, chief operating officer of the IOF, handed over the freezer van to Nurul Kabir Siddiqui, adviser to Quantum Foundation, at a ceremony in Dhaka, reads a press release.

The IOF has donated the freezer van as part of its social development work amid Covid-19, according to the press release. The organisation also participates in various community development activities as part of its social responsibility, it added.

At the programme, officials of the IOF said the endeavor towards social development for the country and its people will continue in future.  

Md Mokhlesur Rahman, head of finance and accounting, Santu Talukder, deputy executive director of the IOF and Dr Moniruzzaman, Coordinator of Quantum Foundation and its organiser Anwar Hossain were also present on the occasion.
