International expos on construction, woodwork from June 20

250 exhibitors from 10 countries will display over 3,000 products at the events.

Two international expos on building constructions and woodworking technology are going to kick off on Thursday at the International Convention City, Bashundhara, in Dhaka.

The tradeshows, titled 5th Bangladesh BUILDCON International Expo 2019 and 5th International JAT Presents Bangladesh WOOD 2019, will be organised by ASK Trade & Exhibitions Pvt Ltd, and Futurex Trade Fairs & Events Pvt Ltd.

The organisers said in a press conference on Monday that the three-day events from June 20 will focus on architecture, building and construction materials, and technology for woodworking and furniture sector of Bangladesh.

A total of 250 exhibitors from 10 countries – China, India, Turkey, Hong Kong, the USA, Sri Lanka, Austria, Malaysia, Italy and Bangladesh – will display over 3,000 products at the events.

The shows will remain open from 11am to 8pm every day. Entry is free for all.

“Our shows focus on bringing global technology and materials close to the doorsteps of local manufacturers be it in the furniture sector or the building and construction sector of the country,” said Tipu Sultan Bhuiyan, managing director of ASK Trade & Exhibitions.

The Bangladesh WOOD 2019 will display products and technologies like assembling solutions, brushes and rollers, accessories, calibrating and sanding machines etc.

Architectural glass, building materials, bathroom fittings and accessories, building strengthening systems etc will be displayed at the International BUILDCON Bangladesh 2019.
