Imran Kadir elected as JCI Dhaka North president

The Junior Chamber International (JCI) Dhaka North has elected Imran Kadir as the president for the next term of 2020. 

The organisation also elected its executive body and board members in a recently held general members' meeting at Six Seasons Hotel in Dhaka.

Sharing vision for 2020, Imran said, "We will emphasize on the creating potential youth leadership, women empowerment in workplaces, sustainable environment and mental health. Besides we will work for the wellbeing of people. These will be core areas of our work.' 

Imran is a media professional, currently working in a leading newspaper. He is also associated with few startup ventures and also the global advisor of Global Youth Parliament, which is an international NGO with the headquarter in Nepal. 

Fatima Akther Naz was elected as the executive vice president, Nahida Akther and Abdul Malek Tushar as vice presidents.

Among others, Parvez Ahmed as general legal counsel, Raihatul Jannah Tabin as secretary general, Shakhawat Hossain as treasurer, Mahira Habib as immediate past president, and Ziaur Rahman, Shafaq Hussain, Mohammad Anisul Islam were elected as directors.
