Hefazat-e-Islam Ameer Mohibullah Babunagari said the government should release party leaders and activists if they want to hold on to power.

"Strict movements will be announced if all party leaders and activists arrested are not released and all 'false cases' against them are not withdrawn by 30 November," Babunagari said at a conference in the capital's Institution of Engineers auditorium on Wednesday (25 October).

He also said Hefazat will form all its district and upazila committees within the next three months.
