Here we come on the web

Dear Readers,

Finally, we are here hitting the web with a soft launch as a precursor to the publication of our daily newspaper.

We want to understand life as economy is all about what goes on around us, as Nobel-winning economist Paul Krugman had put it.

We will tell you stories in words and images, in numbers and infographs. We will make complex issues simple, putting context to them. And we will connect disparate incidents and journey in-depth into seemingly simple events.

Our team – an energetic group of journalists, editors, graphic designers and videographers – can best be described as an intersection of vast experience meeting youthful exuberance.

To bolster our effort to explain the world, we have teamed up with Bloomberg, Foreign Policy, Project Syndicate, The Mint, The Hindustan Times, and Digit. We will be serving you with exclusive high-value items from these media outlets.

We are currently testing the site and will be updating it with corrections, until we are ready for a full version of our site.
