Mugda Hospital’s acting director removed

Deputy Director Dr Md Abul Hashem Sheikh will replace Dr Shah Golam Nabi as the director of the hospital

The Health Ministry has removed Professor Dr Shah Golam Nabi Tuhin as the acting director of the coronavirus designated Mugda General Hospital.

He was also the principal of Mugda General Medical College. He has been relieved from this post too. Another doctor has also been removed and kept on special duty (OSD).

A Health Ministry circular, issued on Saturday, said hospital's Deputy Director Dr Md Abul Hashem Sheikh will replace Dr Shah Golam Nabi as the director of the hospital. 

However, sources at the hospital told The Business Standard that Dr Shah Golam Nabi has been transferred outside Dhaka.
