Dr Robed Amin made NCDC line director

Dr Mohammad Robed Amin, professor of medicine at Dhaka Medical College, has been made line director at the Non Communicable Disease Control (NCDC).

Dr Robed Amin, an Officer on Special Duty (OSD) at the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), told The Business Standard, "I am a man of medicine. I have always been with patients. In the new responsibilities, I will try to do administrative work according to my ability."

In addition to Dr Robed, three other health services officials have been transferred/promoted, according to a gazette notification issued by the Health Service Division on Thursday.

Among them, Dr Md Habibur Rahman has been transferred to the homeopathy department under Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS). Earlier he served as the director at Management Information System (MIS).
