The fire broke out around 9 pm

Fire service officials have doused the fire that broke out at Gulshan Centre Point building in the capital's Gulshan area.

The fire originated around 9pm of the 14-storey building. Two firefighting units brought the blaze under control at 9:30pm.

Fire Service Control Room Duty Officer Golam Azad confirmed the news to The Business Standard.

"The cause of the fire could not been confirmed immediately," he said.
