Guardian Life in association with Channel I has organized a budget discussion program titled "Guardian Life Budget Bisleshon" on Bangladesh's economic recovery and domestic investment in the Covid-19 situation.

The show started airing on Channel I and its Facebook page from June 11 and will continue till June 16 every day at 5:30pm or 6:00 pm.

The design of the program comprises of prominent economists, professionals of financial institution and others to discuss about the budget of Bangladesh during COVID-19 Pandemic.

Since the beginning of 2020, there have been doubts whether it would be possible to maintain the socio-economic progress achieved in the last few years due to COVID-19 pandemic.

Now, we have already started facing the impacts of Covid-19 as on economic growth, job losses and increase in poverty.

To address the crisis Bangladesh government has already taken several necessary steps and has already declared the budget for the next fiscal year (2020-2021) on June 11 amid the Covid-19 pandemic.

The program is going to discuss and analyze the current budget provided.
