Govt cancels Independence Day parades and gatherings

The government has cancelled parades and gatherings on March 26 in celebration of the Independence Day in an attempt to curb the spread of coronavirus. 

The Cabinet Division announced a revised programme plan mentioning the cancellation, in a circular approved by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Thursday.
