Genex Infosys wins Basis Outsourcing Award 2020

Genex Infosys, a leading IT company in the country and the first publicly listed company in the country's ITES sector, has won the prestigious Basis Outsourcing Award 2020.

The company has been given the award under the category of Export Excellence at a ceremony held at the Radisson Blu Dhaka Water Garden on Saturday, said a media statement issued on Sunday. 

Salman Fazlur Rahman, private sector industry and investment advisor to the Prime Minister attended the ceremony as the chief guest, while Zunaid Ahmed Palak, state minister for Information and Communication Technology Division was present as a special guest.

"Genex is one of the top leaders in the country's ICT and Outsourcing Industry and has strived towards playing a key role for achieving the $5 billion export target set by the Prime Minister's ICT Advisor Sajeeb Wazed Joy through this sector," said co-founder and chief executive officer of Genex Infosys Limited.
