General Aziz stresses on strengthening Bangladesh-Zambia military training

Bangladesh Army Chief General Aziz Ahmed stressed on further strengthening military training between Bangladesh and Zambia, including in staff colleges in two countries.

He said this in a meeting with Brigadier General Stephen Simujandu, commandant of the Defense Services Command and Staff College on Wednesday.

General Aziz visited various training facilities at Zambia's Defense Services Command and Staff College, said ISPR press release. 

At the time, he gave a lecture to the trainee officers at Zambia's Defense Services Command and Staff College on military diplomacy and various activities of the Bangladesh Army in this regard.

General Aziz also paid a courtesy call on Zambia National Service (ZNS) commandant Nathan Mulenga on May 4.

During this time, he invited the delegation of Zambia National Service to inspect various activities of the Bangladesh Army and to participate in various exercises arranged by the Bangladesh Army on tackling disasters, counter-terrorism, etc.

 Mulenga informed about various activities of his force and various welfare-oriented activities for the development of youths.

General Aziz informed about the various welfare activities of the Bangladesh Army and their involvement in the country's development. 

He is set to leave Zambia tonight and arrive in the country on 6 May.
