Around 11 am today, a 12-inch gas pipe got damaged allegedly during the digging of a construction

After two hours of effort, the Titas and Fire services have managed to control the gas that was spewing out from a pipe in the capital's House Building intersection.
Around 11 am today, a 12-inch gas pipe got damaged allegedly during the digging for the construction of a 20.5 km BRT line from Gazipur to Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport and gas started spewing out, making the locals terrified in fear of a bigger accident.
Traffic Police Deputy Commissioner Md Saiful Haque said they had diverted vehicles in an alternate direction.
