Four Italy returnees quarantined in Barishal
"None of them has been found positive for the novel coronavirus," Barishal Civil Surgeon says
Four people, including three of a family, have been kept in home quarantine in Barishal's Gournadi upazila since Wednesday.
"We have tested four Italy returnees. But none of them has been found positive for the novel coronavirus," Barishal Civil Surgeon Dr Monawar Hossain said yesterday.
They have been advised not to meet other family members during the quarantine period, he added.
Arriving at Dhaka on March 2, the four people, including a woman and a child, went to their respective village in Gournadi upazila a week later, said family sources.
Basudev Kumar Das, deputy director of the Barishal divisional office of the health directorate, said they will be under observation for the next 14 days.
Besides, the doctors at Upazila Health Complex are closely monitoring them.
