Flight operations at the Shah Amanat International Airport in Chattogram returned to normal on Saturday morning after a 3-hour disruption caused by heavy fog.

Three international flights of Shah Amanat International Airport landed at Dhaka's Shahjalal International Airport due to the fog.

Chittagong Shah Amanat International Airport Manager Wing Commander Sarwar E Zaman said, "All flights to and from the airport were halted for over three hours from 6.30am and resumed at around 9.30am."

"Three international flights, including a Regent Airways flight from Muscat and two Bangla Star flights to Muscat and Doha couldn't land at Chattogram airport. Currently the airport has resumed daily activities," he added.
