Five hospitalised for having coronavirus symptoms in city

Five persons, suspected to have symptoms of coronavirus, were admitted to a city hospital in the last 24 hours.

The admitted Bangladeshi nationals are a Saudi Arabia-returnee elderly couple aged about 65-70, two Italy-returnees and one child returned from Singapore, Dhaka Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport Group Captain Towhid- ul-Ahsan told BSS today.

The child was previously admitted to a hospital in Singapore while the suspected elderly couple had high body temperature along with respiratory problems during the time of their admission to hospital, he said.

He added that the patients have been kept in isolation.
