Firearm factory found at union parishad chairman’s home in Chattogram

The Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) has found a firearm factory during a drive at the house of a union parishad chairman on Saturday in Boalkhali of Chattogram.
However, none could be held during the drive, said Md Mahmudul Hasan Mamun, an assistant director (media) at RAB 7.
Senior Assistant Director Kazi Md Tarek Aziz of RAB Chattogram zone said pistol and one-shooter gun-making equipment were found and the team seized a one-shooter gun and two bullets from the scene.
He said whether or not the chairman is involved in this connection would be investigated.
A case has been filed in this connection, added Mahmudul.
