A fire broke out at a wood warehouse in the capital's Matuail area on Saturday night.
The fire originated at the wood warehouse in the college road area around 8:15pm, said Rezaul Karim, a firefighter of Demra Fire Station.
On information, five firefighting units rushed to the spot and were trying to douse the blaze as of filing this report. There are also paper warehouses in the adjacent area.
However, the firefighter could not immediately confirm what actually ignited the fire.
