A fire has broken out at a shoe factory in the capital's south Banasree today. 

On information four units from Khilgaon fire station rushed to the spot and started working to douse the fire, said duty officer of fire service control room.

The fire was brought under control around 11:45am. There was no casualty in the incident but the reason behind the fire and the amount of damages could not be ascertained yet.
