The fire incident at a polythene factory on the ground floor of a four-storey building at Mahuttuli in Old Dhaka night has been brought under control.
A fire broke out at the polythene factory on Saturday (12 February) night.
On information, 12 firefighting units rushed to the spot to douse the fire that originated in the factory around 11:30pm, said Fire Service and Civil Defence Public Relations Officer Shahjahan Shikder.
The reason behind the fire could not be known immediately.
