Fire at Mohammadpur slum

A fire broke out at a slum near the Nabadiya Housing Project in Mohammadpur on Thursday evening.
Fire originated at the slum at 7:35pm and spread rapidly. On information, two firefighting units rushed to the spot and were working to bring the blaze under control, said Ershad Hossain, a duty officer at Fire Service Headquarters' control room.
He also said they were yet to ascertain the reason behind the fire.
