Fire at DAE office in Khamarbari

The office of the Department of Agricultural Extension (DAE) at Khamarbari in the city's Farmgate area caught fire on Wednesday night.
Mahfuz Riven, duty officer at the Fire Service and Civil Defence central control room, said fire originated at the building around 8:29pm.
On information, two firefighting units rushed in and brought the fire under control around 8:42pm, he said, adding they were trying to identify what actually caused the fire.
