The fire that broke out in a building at T&T Colony in front of Banani Ansar Camp in the capital on Sunday afternoon, has been brought under control.

Eight units of fire service were sent to the spot but later two were called back, according to the Fire Service Control Room Duty Officer Ershad Hossain.

He also told The Business Standard that the fire originated at around 3pm.

However, the cause of the fire has not been confirmed yet and no injuries or deaths have been reported so far.
