Atiar was killed when bullets were exchanged between the two factions of the group
A local leader of an extremist group was shot dead by a member of a rival faction in Pabna's Bera upazila on Tuesday.
The diseased, Ataur Rahman alias Atiar, 28, son of Abdus Sattar, was a resident of Durgapur village of the upazila.
The group is locally known as Sarbahara Dal.
