The demonstration will be brought out demanding the release of those who were picked up during a protest on Thursday

The Student Rights Council will bring out a procession tomorrow if those, who were detained today during a protest in Motijheel, are not released by the time.

The student body leader and former vice-president of Dhaka University Central Students Union (Ducsu) Nurul Haque Nur came up with the announcement during a Facebook live today.

He said the protest will be held at 3pm at Shahbagh intersection in the capital.

Earlier on the day, Bangladesh Juba Odhikar Parishad staged a protest against the visit of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi to Bangladesh near Shapla Chattar in Motijheel. Nur and the members of the Student Rights Council also participated in the protest.

At one stage, police dispersed the protesters and picked up at least 38 activists, claimed Nur.
