“It will also be a challenge to set the price of gas over the next five to 10 years"

As the cost of Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) is seven times higher than natural gas, it will be a big challenge for Bangladesh to cope with it.

State Minister for Power and Energy Nasrul Hamid Bipu expressed such concerns while addressing at two-day long ‘South Asian LNG summit-2019’ at Pan Pacific Sonargaon Hotel in Dhaka on Tuesday.

“It will also be a challenge to set the price of gas over the next five to 10 years.”

“If people involved in this sector can set the gas price appropriately, then investors will be able to invest in a planned manner,” the minister added.
