HULT Prize is an annual year-long business competition that sources sustainable business ideas from MBA and college students after challenging them to solve a pressing social issue

ULAB gears up for HULT Prize

The University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh (ULAB) is all set to bring forth the prestigious business competition HULT Prize and declared its executive committee on Friday.

The event is being co-handled by ULAB's Co-Curricular Office and the student body of ULAB HULT Prize, which comprises 42 proactive students headed by their Campus Director Shakiba Hossan Tanha of Bachelor's of Business Administration Department (BBA). 

"Despite the abnormal switch to the new normal due to the Covid-19, I believe ULAB students have the potential to create an opportunity in every adversity," Tanha said while addressing the executive committee.

The power surge team of 42 students have been divided into 6 executive teams namely - Communication and Registration, Event Management, Branding and Promotion, Press and Media, Corporate Affairs, and Finance. Each team is headed by a Head and a Deputy Head. 

Senior Lecturer of ULAB Business Department N M Baki Billah has been appointed as the Advisor of ULAB HULT Prize organizing body. 

HULT Prize is an annual year-long business competition that sources sustainable business ideas from MBA and college students after challenging them to solve a pressing social issue around topics such as food, security, water access, energy and education. 

United Nations is the official partner of HULT Prize.
