Team Renascent made history at WUB Hult Prize

This year's on-campus round of Hult Prize at World University of Bangladesh came to an end with team Renascent securing the championship of the round.

Renascent became the first- ever team to represent WUB in the regional round.

The finale event was held on 4 December which consisted of the bunch of organising committee members and top 5 finalist teams, read a press release.

The jury board of the grand finale includes Head of World School of Business  of WUB Dr Selim Ahmed, Textile Engineering department's Chairman Md Mostafizur Rahman and Global Finalist of "Hult prize 2016," Mohammad Saad.

The event started with the welcome speech given by Nazim Ahmed (Chief of Staff, Hult prize at WUB) 

Followed by Asia Regional Associate Fahim Shahriar's thoughts about Hult Prize & Community Builder Md Ikrar Imtiaz wished best of luck to the teams.

After the teams pitched their ideas, the judges took some fifteen minutes to announce the winners based on a unanimous decision, announcing "Team Renascent" as the winner who earned their ticket to the Regional round of Hult Prize 2021.

The position of the first runners up was secured by Team Vegan Era , while Team Nutrimen Wheeler became the second runners up.

And lastly the honourable judges appreciated the winning teams, the campus director Tasina Reema Jareen and the organizing committee, with which this year's On Campus round of Hult Prize at World University of Bangladesh, came to an end.
