SSC, equivalent exams begin February 1
A total of 20, 47, 779 students will take part in the examination
The Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and its equivalent examinations 2020 will be held from February 1 to March 3 across the country.
Education Minister Dr Dipu Moni announced the date today at a press conference at the ministry.
A total of 20, 47, 779 students will take part in the examination from 28,884 institutions at 3,512 centres all over the country.
Of them, 10,23,416 male students and 10,23,416 are female students.
Like the previous years, all type of coaching centres will remain closed from January 25.
The education minister said, "We have taken all the preparations to hold the examination smoothly. We want cooperation from all quarters including guardians and teachers."
"There is no chance to leak the question papers. You (guardians and students) don't pay heed to the rumours of question paper leak," she said.
