News of educational institutes reopening after Eid was rumour: Ministry

The education ministry on Wednesday said that it has not taken any decisions yet to re-open educational institutions after Eid and any news related to re-opening them is a rumour.

The ministry, in a press release, said that it will immediately notify students and others concerned through the mass media if they take such decision. 

The release said that a Facebook page named "Bangladesh National Education Board" has been circulating a rumour that educational institutions will resume classes after Eid while maintaining proper social distancing measures. 

They said that this page is circulating nothing but rumours and there is no such government institution named "Bangladesh National Education Board" in the country.

The education ministry sincerely urged the students not to be bewildered by such false and baseless news.
