National University celebrates 75th birthday of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina

National University celebrated the 75th birthday of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina today at the National University campus in Gazipur.

Prof Dr Mashiur Rahman, Vice-Chancellor, NU inaugurated the program at the campus, said a press release.

Prayer gatherings were held after Johar to wish good health and long life to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.

Md Mashiur Rahman said that the NU pledge is to inspire 70 percent of students of higher education in the country to become skilled citizens by inspiring them with the ideals of Bangabandhu.

He also urged the teachers, officials and employees to be loyal to their duties.

Later, he cut a cake and planted 75 tree saplings after the programme.
