JSC, JDC students to be promoted as per evaluation by schools: Ministry

The education ministry has asked the educational institutions in the country to promote the candidates of Junior School Certificate (JSC) and equivalent exams to the next class through evaluation in respective schools.

But the ministry did not give any guidelines about the evaluation process, reads a notice issued by the ministry on Tuesday.

Confirming the matter to The Business Standard, Director General of Directorate of Secondary and Higher Education Professor Syed Golam Faraque said, "The ministry issued a notice to inform the educational institutions directing school based evaluation."
