International Network for OBE inaugurates at UIU

United International University (UIU) organised the international event for the first in the country

The inauguration of the Bangladesh Chapter of International Network for Outcome Based Education (IN4OBE) was held virtually on 18 April.

United International University (UIU) organised the international event for the first in the country.

Prof. Dr. William Spady, Father of OBE and CEO, IN4OBE was present as the Chief Guest while Prof. Dr. Mesbahuddin Ahmed, Chairman of Bangladesh Accreditation Council and Prof. Dr. Muhammed Alamgir, Member, University Grants Commission of Bangladesh were present as Special Guests.

Vice Chancellor of UIU, Prof. Dr. Chowdhury Mofizur Rahman presided over the Ceremony while Prof. Dr. A. F. M. Saiful Amin, Member Secretary, Board of Accreditation for Engineering and Technical Education (BAETE) was present as the Guest of Honor.

The chief guest said- authentic Outcome Based Education will play an important role in the education of Bangladesh. 'IN4OBE' will further strengthen the education system and play an important role in improving the quality of education in Bangladesh. It marked the beginning of a new journey in the education system of Bangladesh.

IN4OBE is the International Network for Outcome Based Education, a committed team of visionary educational leaders and consultants bringing the transformational promise, mission, and practices of authentic Outcome Based Education (OBE) to universities and other educational institutions across the world.

A total of four hundred people including faculty members, academicians, researchers and other distinguished guests from different universities in the home and abroad were present in the virtual program.
