DU students asked to register for vaccine by 31 March
The government decided to reopen the public and private universities on 24 May on condition of vaccinating the teachers, students and employees before reopening
The Dhaka University (DU) authorities have started the registration process for immunising its students against Covid-19, in an effort to resume the academic activities.
The students have been asked to register through the designated web portal (https://ssl.du.ac.bd/studentlogin) using their academic registration numbers by 31 March, said a press release on Thursday.
Those who already have been provided with institutional e-mail IDs, can complete the registration smoothly as all required information will be extracted from the university database.
They just have to log in using the email IDs and get themselves registered.
The students who have not collected institutional IDs yet, have to submit all information browsing the portal. Then the information will be sent to their respective departments and institutions to verify.
Besides, the students have been instructed to collect their institutional e-mail IDs from the "E-mail Admin" of their respective departments and institutes.
In the wake of coronavirus infection in the country in last March, the DU authorities suspended all academic activities to refrain the virus from spreading.
On 22 February this year, the government decided to reopen the public and private universities on 24 May on condition of vaccinating the teachers, students and employees before reopening.
