DU closed indefinitely to curb Covid-19 spread

All classes and exams of Dhaka University (DU) have been declared cancelled indefinitely to curb the spread of the deadly coronavirus outbreak on the campus.

Confirming the matter to The Business Standard, DU VC Aktaruzzaman said, "The campus will remain closed until the situation is resolved. Students will be notified at least three days ago before starting classes and exams."

The students have been requested to stay in their home in this time.

However, DU authorities in a notice also urged students to continue their study at home.
