DU ‘Cha' unit admission test tomorrow

Admission test of "Cha" unit of Dhaka University (DU), under Fine Arts faculty, will be held on Saturday from 10 am to 11am. With 16,001 students registered for only 135 seats, 118 students will contest for each of the seats, said the DU admission office.

The DU authority will not allow the students to bring any electronic devices in the exam halls. Seat plans are now available on the university website: www.admission.eis.du.ac.bd.

The admission test of "Ga" unit (the Business Studies faculty) was held on Friday. 29,058 candidates appeared in the test, the number of available seats being 1,250.

The exams for Ka, Kha, and Gha units will be held on September 20, 21, and 27, respectively.

According to the DU admission office, as many as 88,970 admission seekers will appear in the test for Kaw-unit (the Science faculty), the number of available seats being 1,795.

As many as 45,003 admission seekers will appear in the test for Kha-unit (the Arts faculty), the number of available seats being 2,378.

Ghaw unit, also known as the combined unit, is open for students of all educational backgrounds.  As many as 97, 464 students will appear in the test for 1,560 seats of this unit (Social Science faculty).  

The admission test will consist of 75 marks MCQ (Multiple Choice Questions) and 45 marks written test. Earlier, there was no written part in the admission test.
