DIU hosts Winter Camp 2020

Daffodil International University (DIU) has recently hosted its third winter camp.

A contingent of China's SIAS University, an active partner university of DIU, joined the camp, said a press release.

The camp started from January 12 and continued till January 17, 2020, added the statement.

The closing ceremony was held at DIU auditorium in Dhanmondi.

Chairman of DIU Dr Md Sabur Khan was present on the occasion as chief guest.

The Pro-Vice Chancellor of DIU Dr SM Mahbub Ul Haque Majumder and Coordinator, International Cooperation and Exchange of SIAS University Charlie Chen were present as special guests.

Director of International Affairs of DIU Dr Md Fokhray Hossain presided over the program.

The participants of the camp shared their week long experience obtained at the program.

The team experienced different cross-cultural activities about Bangladesh by making handicrafts in the innovation lab, having sessions on critical thinking, visiting various places like national memorial, national museum, university areas, Rose village and going for a tour of the Dhaka city.

At the end of the closing ceremony, Dr Md Sabur Khan handed over certificates and tokens of appreciation among the participants.

The program ended with cross-cultural performances by Chinese participants
